William E. Smith, Sr. departed this life on August 17, 2022. He was born on August 09, 1940, to the late, Samuel and Edna Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Smith, and a daughter, Wilma Smith.

He leaves to mourn his sister, Elfreda Marshall; 5 daughters, Jackie Watson, Carolyn Scott, Moe Smith, and Belinda Sutton; 7 sons, Jeffrey Pressley, William Smith, Jr., Wilbur Smith, Samuel Smith, Justin Wobby, Kyle Sutton, and Waris Smith; and a host of other loving family and friends.
