William "Sonny, Jonny" Alfred Reeves, 76, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was born May 17, 1932 to the late Charlie and Mary Woodruff Reeves. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jacqueline M. Reeves; one daughter, Alesha Jarnae Reeves; mother-in-law, Alease F. Brown; sisters and brothers, Shirley (Robert) Morris, Alphonso Reeves, Warren Reeves, Charles Reeves all of Lynchburg, Verna (Uself) Reeves, Edward Reeves, Samuel Reeves, all of New York; two sisters-in-law, Shelia Moss, of Lynchburg and Lillie (William) McNeill , New Jersey and host nieces, nephews other reletives and friends. A memorial services will be held 12:00 PM Tues. September 16, 2008 at Diamond Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to services. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 16.
