William "Massie" Radford depart this life on December 30, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born May 2, 1930, to the late Archie and Annie Radford.  In addition to his parents, Massie was preceded in death by his siblings four sisters, Mildred Jones, Mary Radford, Louise Key and Drucilla Radford; and four brothers, Herman, Archie, James and Robert Radford.

He was a member of First Baptist Church Coolwell.  He was a truck driver for over 50 years.

Massie is survived by one son, Todd Radford Evans (Tiffany), of Petersburg, VA; one daughter, Shirley Sparrow, of Madison Heights, VA; one granddaughter, LaTesha Wilkins (Gary); two great grandsons, Isaiah and Roman Wilkins; two devoted nephews, Stacy Jones and Leslie Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held 10AM Saturday, January 08, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Interment will be in the First Baptist Church-Coolwell Cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
