Obituary
William Edward Hood entered into eternal rest at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center on August 11, 2014. He was the husband of Paula Madison Hood.
Born October 16, 1946 in Washington, DC, and he was the son of Leona V. Hood. William was a member of New Vine Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, others left to cherish his memory are, two sons, Mark A. Hood, Sr. (Alissia), of Lynchburg and Jermawn K. Hood, of Manassas, VA; two grandchildren, Markia Hood and Mark Hood, Jr.; great grandson, Jasir Hood; sister, Alfreda H. Johnson (Marshall); five aunts, a special uncle, Eugene L. Hood, Jr. (Jean); brother-in-law, Timothy Madison all of Lynchburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2014 at New Vine Baptist Church, with Rev. Drews, Pastor, officiating and Rev. Robert Hood, as Eulogist.
