William D. Henry "Shawn" also known as "Kobe" departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born on October 5, 1980, to the parents of William Henry of Appomattox, VA, and Sonya Clarke (Lorence Clarke) of Concord, VA. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents. James and Annie McIvor, his paternal grandparents, John and Estelle Henry, and an uncle, James McIvor.

Shawn received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church, Spout Spring, Virginia. He later rededicated his life to Christ and became an active member of Kingdom Harvest of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Shawn leaves to mourn his mother, Sonya Clarke (Lorence), his father William Henry, one brother, Jordan Henry of Concord, VA: one niece, Raynebow Henry of Concord, VA: one daughter, Ashanta Henry of Lynchburg, VA: two sons, Henry Chappell of Appomattox, VA: Jashaun Hamlette of Greensboro, NC: and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
