Mr. Wayne Ferguson, 55, of Lynchburg, VA made his transition from this life to a life of no more struggles of this world at his residence on Friday, July 12, 2013.
Wayne, the middle child of the late John and Vivian Neaslious Ferguson was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 12, 1958. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa Ferguson.
Wayne was a very outgoing person. Everyone that he came in contact with, he had a way of making many lasting impressions. Wayne always had a passion to set-up and maintain beautiful aquariums and we know always enjoyed "very loud" music. He also always enjoyed the sport of fishing.
Left to cherish his memories are two brothers, Marvin ( Linda) Ferguson, Concord, VA and Lewis (Patricia) Kelso, Appomattox, VA; one aunt, Mrs. Daisy Jones; one uncle, Sam Ferguson; Wayne also remained devoted friends to his former wife, Annette Haskins and her daughter, Marquita Baker and children that referred to Wayne as "Papa" – Trinity Clements, Isaiah Baker, as well as the entire Haskins family of Red House and Lynchburg communities. Also devoted to Wayne and always there to help him in times of need are his cousin, Bryant Stewart and friends, Ronnie Hamlett and John Davis.
Wayne is survived by nieces, Daveina (Ravi) Perri, Anitra (Davon) Ross, Patrice (Gary) Wynn, Joanna Ferguson, Martica Hamlett, Diana Kelso; two nephews, Lorenzo Ferguson and Daryl Nelson and a abundance of other relatives and friends, who are touched in their own way as they remember Wayne.
