Warren W. "Turkey" Anderson, 84, of Forest passed away Monday, January 31, 2017 at The Heartland Nursing Home. He was the loving husband to the late Shirley W. Anderson. He was born August 16, 1932 to the late Warren M. Anderson and Elizabeth Younger Anderson. He was preceded in death by six brothers, James, Robert, Charles, Leslie, Roger and Emmett Anderson and one sister, Carolyn L. Noell.
"Turkey" as he was affectionately called loved the gospel group The Dixie Hummingbirds.
Those left to cherish his memories are three sons, Michael (Vanessa) of Madison Heights, Donald and Kevin (Adrian); one daughter, Linda, all of Forest; four grandchildren; three great-grand children; two brothers, Mack and Roy (Trudi), both of Lynchburg; one brother-in-law, Leroy Williams, of NC; sister-in-law, Marie (George) of Lynchburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
