Walter Edward Perry departed this life on November 06, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on February 29, 1964 to Josephine Perry Dodd and the late Louis Carter Marshall.

He was a loving and devoted father to his children, four daughters, Falisha, Precious, Wanisha and Shanikqa and one son, Walter Perry, Jr; He his loving wife, Yolanda Perry, whom he married in February 2003. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine Perry Dodd; grandmother, Margret Jones; one sister, Michelle Gilliam; four brothers, Renwick Perry (Poochie), Reginald Perry (Reggie), Lydell Perry (Chuckie) and Leonard Perry (Lenny); seven grandchildren: Jamill, JaNya, Summer, Chauncey, Chase, Star and Kionte; three sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; six step-children; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Walter worked in landscaping and construction. He had a passion for music, he loved fishing, and most of all being outdoors, where he loved planting flowers.

I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 15, 2021, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Family and friends may view Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 12-4PM. Interment will be at the Forest Hill Burial Park. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
