Obituary

Walter Edward Dixon, Jr. "Bun Baby" of 1210 8 ^th St. departed this life on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Liberty Ridge Nursing Home after a long illness.  He was born on April 23, 1946 to the late Walter Edward Dixon, Sr. and Jessie Pearl Dixon.

After high school he was drafted into the US Army where he served a couple of years. After he returned home he worked a couple of odd jobs.  After that he was hired by Heyer Hauser and this turned International Papers and he worked there for forty-two years.

Those left to cherish his memory was his son, Walter Edward Dixon, III (Beanie); grandson, Walter Edward Dixon, IV (Jay); Mary Dixon Haynes (his Boo); two brothers-in-law, Harry McArthur Mason, of WV and Robert Arthur Mason, of Lynchburg; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Scott and Clevonne Mason, both of Lynchburg; a lifelong friends, Leverne Jenkins and Kenny Jones who would come by every day and check on him and if I didn't list your name I am sorry but he had a host of relatives and friends.
