On July 23, 2024, Vinnie M. Brown heard the Master's call to lay down his cross and come to receive his crown. Vinnie was an ONLY child born August 29, 1969, to the late Ronnie James Brown and Saundra Clark.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Ronnie Brown; Grandfather, Otis T. Brown, Sr.; Loving Grandmother, Rosa Lee Brown, who held Vinnie close to her heart and helped raise him; the Late Great Linda Perry, whom he looked at as a Mother and as only he could call her "Nana" because she was more than just an Aunt to him. In her eyes, Vinnie was the son that she always wanted, and she showed that through her love for him and the guidance that she gave him. He was also preceded in death by his Uncles, Champ Reeves, George Reeves, Thomas Brown, Edward Reeves, and Otis Brown, Jr.; Aunts, Abbie Cabell, Betty Reeves, Sandra Lamberth; and a cousin, Vernon Horsley, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories, Daughters, Holly Brown and Jessica Jackson; Son, Roy Jackson; Grandchildren, Own, Ian, Cason, McKinley, Eddie, and Emory; Uncle, Richard Brown; Aunts, Susan Eubanks; and Eloise Brown. He also leaves to cherish his memory a sister/cousin, Sabrina Brown (King), who he was very protective of; sister/cousin, Vicky Cunningham (Robert), who held a special place in his heart. In Nana's absence, Vicky kept him on the straight and narrow. Cousins with a brotherly bond, John Horsley and Troy Helm, Jr.; Cousins, Sherry, Shelia,

Cynthia, Samantha, Patricia, Otis, Pamela, Teena, and Tawanda; Three devoted friends, Chip, Buck, and Thomas; and a host of other family and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at Lovingston Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Bolling Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
