Vernelle Mack Wade, 82, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019.  She was born to the late John William Mack and Irene Mack in Franklin County, VA.  She is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth David Wade

To cherish her memories, she leaves her husband of 62 years, Curtis Wade of the home; four daughters, Carolyn Preston, Angela Patterson, Linda Wade and Glory Wade; two sons, Ronnie Wade and Leo Wade all of Rocky Mount, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 675 Colonial Turnpike, Rocky Mount, VA.  The family will receive friends one prior to the service.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
