On Monday November 11, 2013, God sent His Angels down to the bedside of Brother Truman B. Richardson, and on the wings of the Angels, they took him safely home to be with the Lord.
He was born in Amherst County Virginia on July 28, 1945 to the late Pet B. and Maggie G. Richardson. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Henry, Robert Smiley and George Clinton; two sisters, Signora Tinsley and Little Maggie Richardson.
Accepting Christ at an early age, he became a member of the Piney Hill Baptist Church, Amherst County, VA. He loved the Lord and served Him with gladness.
He attended Amherst County Public Schools. He retired from Giants and Penske Trucking and Leasing Company in Capital Heights, MD.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary B. Richardson; two daughters, Angelica Richardson and Amanda Richardson both of Maryland; four grandchildren, Arrionna and Aleey Jones, of Lanham, MD, Jeanelle and Elijah Stewart, of Laurel, MD; four sisters, Virginia Burton, College Park, MD, Lillie Richardson, of Amherst, Susie Tinsley and Gladine Tinsley, both of Madison Heights; a brother, Otto Hicks, Washington, DC; a sister-in-law, Shirley Richardson, of Washington, DC; a brother-in-law, James Tinsley, of Amherst; a devoted nephew, Kenneth Richardson of Maryland, and a host of other relatives and friends.
