Obituary

Travis Edrá Porter was born December 9, 1985, to Willie Lambert and Ramona Porter. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randolph McCray, Jr.; grandmother, Irene Lambert; uncles, Benjamin Porter and Richard Lambert; and great-grandparents, Clayton and Lorraine Porter.

Travis departed this life on June 10, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Willie "Bean" Lambert; mother, Ramona "Boobie" Porter; grandmother, Joyce McCray; his sister, Monika Christian; and brother, Kevin Lambert (Jenelle) all of Lynchburg. Special aunts, Carol Franklin whom he called Auntie/Mom, Amanda Hendricks, Diane Allen (Rodney), and Janet Lambert. His godparents, Clyde and Carolyn Porter; great aunts and uncles, Edgar Porter (Val), Perry Porter (Joyce), Rosell Johnson, Margaret Hubbard, Wanda Porter, Marie Porter, and Cynthia Porter. Travis had a soft spot for his nieces and nephew, Nauteca Porter, Nautavia, Nautrae, and Nautoria Christian, and Jaiden and Jacobi Lambert. Travis was also the godfather to Kaniyah Trent and Diamond Richards. He also leaves behind a host of beloved cousins, family, and friends.

Travis graduated from Rustburg High School and was a member of Mt. Peeler Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2023, at Mt. Peeler Baptist Church, 503 Stage Road, Lynchburg, VA 24504. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
