Tonya Shevonne Faulkner received her wings on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of Deborah (Rev. Merridth) Tinsley and George (Sharon) Hillman, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leonard & Lucille Craft, and Melvin Johnson; her parental grandmother, Luella Stone. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jamarius T. Hillman and uncle Ernest T. Hall.

She is survived by five sons, Antonio D. Hillman (Cierra Davis), Greensboro, NC and Rashad D. Hillman, Craigsville, VA; Demarcus Washington, Christopher Felton, Gary Benton, and Nicholas Bradley, all of Greensboro, NC; four daughters; Danesha S. (Dale) Kiser of Greensboro, NC: Felecia M. Tucker (Michael Price), of Greensboro, NC, DeVonda Chilton, DeShonta Sandidge  of Madison Heights and Keosha Spencerof Greensboro, NC ; and a HOST of other children; seven brothers; George Jr. of Lynchburg, VA,  Stanford, Jarius and Jaylon Hillman,, all of Rustburg, VA, Jeffrey Robinson of Roanoke, VA, Troy Kelso of Lynchburg, VA and Monroe Kelso of Charlotte, NC; three sisters; Sonya Hillman of Richmond, VA, Shontese Alexander of Madison Heights, VA, Angelina Jackson of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by her maternal step grandmother, Delois Johnson along with twelve grandchildren, a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Cross Road Baptist Church with Rev. William J. Coleman, officiating.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
