Timothy Lynn Goins, 45, of Lynchburg, passed away November 17, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Timothy was born to the late Owen Calvin Goins and Gracie Jones Goins on August 27, 1967.
He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Leonard Goins, Sr. and Leslie Jones; uncle, Leonard Goins, Jr.
He is survived by son, Cortrell Goins; daughter, Tatyana Wright, both of Lynchburg; three sisters, Lisa Mosley, of Forest, Tina Minifee, (Kenny) of Madison Heights and Eunice Jackson, (Carl), of Lynchburg; brother, Owen Goins "Chucky" and Kevin Crowder "Fella" both of Lynchburg; step-mother, Deloris Goins, of Lynchburg; grandparents, Ethel Goins and Nancy Dongian; grandchildren, Amire Wright, Armonee Wright and Dai`shaun Wright-Morgan; uncles, Danny Goins, (Joe), Ralph Goins, (Deborah); Aunts, Carrie Goins, Sandra Nappier and Cheryl Cabell; great aunt, Lula Oxborne; devoted nephew, Kenneth Jordon "KB"; very devoted friend, Tamika Wright and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2012 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. Berta Woodson, officiating. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home at 10:50 AM.
