Timothy Alan Martin, 52, of Amherst passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1961 to the late Willie Massie and Juanita P. Martin, Jr.
He was preceded in death by one brother Stanley Martin.
Those left to cherish his memories his wife, Kathy Elaine Martin; two sons, Jereme Scott Gordon, Brandon Davon Gordon, both of SC; two daughters, Anita Elaine Gordon, of SC and Marquitta Martin, of Washington, DC; five brothers, Michael (Mamie) Martin, Willie (Ethnea) Martin, III, of Florida, Victor Martin, of Amherst, Shawn Martin, of Madison Heights and Ricky Jeffers, of Roanoke; five sisters, Rhonda Martin, Chesterfield, Janice (Gregory) Bryant, Florida, Veronica Liggon, of Lynchburg, Mary Martin, of Lynchburg and Kimberly (William) Burford and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Rodney Harris, pastor, officiating and Rev. Rodney Sandidge, as eulogist.
