Theodore Ferguson, 83, of Lynchburg passed away, Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on September 09, 1932 to the late Raymond B. Ferguson, Sr. and Ruth Johnson Ferguson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Ferguson, Jr., Delmar Ferguson and Devon Ferguson.
Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife, Yvonnie Ferguson; three sons, Theodore Ferguson (Velma), Anthony Ferguson and Michael Ferguson; two daughters, Minnie Giles, all of Lynchburg and Tina Bryant, of Roanoke; five sisters, Armintha F. Moore, of San Antonio, TX, Ora Ferguson, of Hagerstown, MD, Phyllis F. Watkins (John), of Orlando, FL, Carentha F. Nowlin (James) and Blondie F. Anderson (St. Clair), both of Lynchburg; five brothers, Sylvester Ferguson (Frances), Clarence Ferguson, (Daisy) O'Neil Ferguson (Vernestine), Randall Ferguson (Glenda) and Wayne Ferguson (JoAnne) and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 Monday, July 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church South Lynchburg with Dr. Carl B. Hutcherson, Jr. officiating. The interment will be in the Briarwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-7:00 PM at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. The family will assemble at the church on Monday.
