Staphono O'Neil Greene, son of the late Ernest Harvey and Gretna Greene Jackson was born on May 12, 1975, in Prince Edward County, VA. He departed this life on December 23, 2021. Staphono graduated from Prince Edward County High School and attended St. Paul's College in Lawrenceville, VA. He attended Cosmetology School and pursued his passion for barbering and hair stylist. He was an entrepreneur, loved cooking, and trying different types of foods and recipes. Staphono had an eye for the intricacies of décor, style and design, as well as helping other people.
Staphono professed Christianity at an early age and joined First Rock Baptist Church where he was baptized. Later in life, he moved to Coco Beach, FL where he resided for 4 years. He later returned to Virginia making his home in Lynchburg. After moving to Lynchburg, Staphono visited and joined the Ramp Church International, rededicated his life to the Lord, became a member on May 26, 2019 and was subsequently re-baptized.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Gretna Greene Jackson and stepfather, Michael Anthony Jackson of Prospect, VA; grandmother, Ethel B. Greene of Prospect, VA; brothers, Schpiro Greene of Prospect, VA, Damora Greene (Lakeeia) of Chesterfield, VA, Dejuan Greene (LaKen) of Lynchburg, VA; Half siblings one sister, Tammy Scott of Farmville, VA; four brothers, Alonzo Chambers of Prospect, VA, Earnest Harvey, Jr of Greenbay, VA, Keith Chambers of Prospect, VA, Raheem Smith of Greenbay, VA; nieces, Chikirya Saunders, Abigail Greene, Madisyn Greene, Jorden Greene, KayLin Greene, Alonzo Chambers, Jr, Christopher Chambers, Ariyonna Chambers, Maria Chambers, Rashard Chambers, Elijah Chambers, Savion Chambers; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held 12PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Ramp Church International with Bishop S.Y. Younger, Eulogist. Family and friends may view one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Main St. Farmville, VA.
