Simeon "Simi" O'Rhyon Tyler
Simeon O'Rhyon Tyler was granted his angel wings on April 27, 2013. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Simeon had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Simeon's life was seen too short to many, but those that were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and his impeccable swag was sure to capture everyone's attention.
With Simeon's passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Especially with his winning smile, he will forever remain in our hearts. Through his teachings about life we were able to create great memories and it has been a privilege to be his family.
Simeon is survived by his parents Sharhonda Tyler of Monroe and Oliver Felix of Lynchburg; sister Aniya Hicks. Grandparents Gary and Carella Anderson of Monroe. Godmother Brenda Moss of Lynchburg. Great Grandparents Elizabeth and Calvin Nowlin of Madison Heights, Reginald Tyler of Lynchburg, Marvin Anderson of Madison Heights. Aunts Shannon (Don) Tyler of Amherst, Nakisha (Terry) Thomas of Forest; along with a host of cousins and other family members. He was predeceased by his Great Grandmother Christine Anderson.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. The interment will be in the Tree of Life Cemetery Bedford. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com. Service of Comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
