Shontese Alexander was born on October 31, 1977 in Lynchburg, VA. She departed this life on October 11, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, George William Hillman, Sr; brother, Jamarius Hillman; sister, Tonya Hillman; and grandmothers, Lucille Craft and Luella Stone.

She loved the Lord and joined Cook and Harris Holiness Church (Hurt, VA) at a young age. Shontese attended Galilee Baptist Church until her health failed her. Throughout her sickness, she believed that God was going to heal her and kept her faith until her death. She graduated from Heritage High School, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved watching wrestling, and loved her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Deborah Tinsley (Rev. Meredith Tinsley); daughters, Diaviante Hillman and Shaniya Hillman; son, Dehondriá; brother, George William Hillman, Jr., Jarius Hillman, Jaylon Hillman and Stanford Hillman; sisters, Sonya Hillman, Mekka Burford, and Jackie Minnis; half-brothers, Monroe and Troy Kelso; step-brothers, Robert Tinsley, Meredith Tinsley, Jr., and Ernest Tinsley; step-sisters, Lila Smith, Annie Reed, and Jacquelyn Tinsley; step-mother, Sharon Hillman; three aunts, Shevonne Johnson (Donald), Betty Craft (of NY), and Lula Cundiff (of Evington, VA; three uncles; Rev. Scottie Craft, Ray Craft, and Thomas Hall, and a granddaughter on the way, Liana Taner.

A memorial service will be conducted 2PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service
