Sarah J. Davis was born on March 22, 1950, to the late Ward "Ike" Jackson and the late Sarah Spinner. Also preceding her in death are sisters, Annie Spinner and Evangelist Rosa Jackson.

Sarah was a phenomenal mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She has touched many hearts with her great personality and bright smile.

Sarah leaves to cherish her precious memories her wonderful stepmother, Adele Jackson; four loving children, Mark Jackson (Patricia), Mario Anderson, Brandon Dempsey, and Bridget Dempsey; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline Franklin and Anna Franklin (Bruce); six brothers, June Spinner, Leroy Johnson (Elizabeth), Ward Jackson, Sr. (Brenda), Edward Jackson (Nellie), Michael Jackson and Wayne Jackson; a very caring and devoted friend, Keleitra Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Reverend Mack Johnson, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
