God called Sandy Robey, Jr. to rest life on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
He was born on December 20, 1951 to Ella J. Elliott and the late Sandy E. Robey, Sr. He was the husband of Lillian J. Robey "Candy". He was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Kevin Robey.
Sandy leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ella J. Elliott Robey, of Fredricksburg; his devoted wife, "Candy" of Lynchburg; one son, Shaun L. Robey, of Bedford; one daughter, Shronda L. Robey, of Lynchburg; four sisters, Sandra Berry, of San Bernardino, CA, Florence James, of Philadelphia, Shirley Padilla (Roberto), of Land O'Lakes, FL and Brenda McCall, of Triangle; a devoted daughter-in-law, April Robey, of Bedford; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Daisy Cardwell and Hester Tracy; three brothers-in-law, Earl W. Jones, (Laura Burks), James Cardwell and William Tracy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. C. E. Rhodes, officiating.
