Samuel Basil Rouff, Jr. began his journey on this earth on March 20, 1947 in Campbell County Virginia. The Lord called for his presence on January 31, 2012.

Samuel met and married Teressa McCoy; they made their home in Lynchburg, VA and became proud parents of two sons, Samuel Basil Rouff III and Dwayne Maurice Rouff.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, his youngest son, Dwayne Maurice Rouff; one brother, Glenn Rouff and one sister, Alfreda Thornton.

Samuel leaves treasured memories to his son, Samuel Basil Rouff III; one grandson, Austin Jackson; his former wife and friend, Teressa McCoy Rouff; four brothers, Rev. Lorenzo M. Rouff (Mary), Collins Rouff, both of Brookneal, Leroy Rouff of Nathalie and Tommy Rouff of Gladys; one sister, Gayle Harper (Tony) of East Point, GA; three aunts, Dorthula Hurt, Mary Smith and Synethia Hubbard, all of East Orange, NJ; one uncle, Marvin Hubbard of Brookneal; mother-in-law, Clara McCoy; six sisters-in-law, Mary E. Reid, of Lynchburg, Jacqueline Wilkerson (TJ) of Ohio, Darlene McCoy (Paul) of Lynchburg, Julia Wharton of Virginia Beach, Clara Jones (Rev. Edward Jones) and Eyvonne Greene (Roy) both of Lynchburg; two brothers-in-law, Ted McCoy of Ohio and Fred McCoy of Lynchburg; a surrogate daughter, Kameshia Farmer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday February 6, 2012 at Bolling Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Jones, Sr., Pastor, officiating and Rev. Lorenzo M. Rouff, eulogist.
