Saint Peter Moss, Sr. of Appomattox, Virginia was called home on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was born June 10, 1958, to the late James Moss and Ella Moss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Moss; four brothers, James Moss, Jr., Henry Moss, Ronnie Moss, and George Moss.

He is survived by five children, Shanelle Abbitt, Frances Burrell, Saint Peter Moss, Jr., Enrico Moss, all of Appomattox, Virginia, and Alexus Martin of Lynchburg, Virginia. Eight grandchildren that includes one grandson, Orion Winchester, seven granddaughters, I'sis, I'nya, Za'Tasia, La'Meeka, Milia, Neveah, and Raelyn; three sisters, Rosa Napier, Rebecca (Charles) Chambers, and Edna (Al) Dews all of Appomattox, Virginia; one brother, Joseph Moss, of Appomattox, Virginia; two very special and close friends, Linda Burrell and Rita Goings; a host of bonus children, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Springfield Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
