Mr. Roy T. Anderson departed this life Sunday morning, November 1, 2020, at 63 Federal ST. after a brief illness. He was 65 years old and was born in Bedford County, December 14, 1954 to the late Mr. Warren M. Anderson and the late Elizabeth Younger Anderson. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Zion Hill Baptist Church of Forest, VA. He was a retired worker of Avante at Lynchburg.

On January 27, 1973, he joined in marriage to Mrs. Trudy Rose and to this union was born one daughter and one son. He is survived by one son Carlos L. Anderson, Sr. (Felicia); one daughter, Michele R. Anderson (Charleston),  an adopted daughter, Porscha Miller (Trey) all of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Chania Anderson and Carlos Anderson, Jr; a brother, Mack E. Anderson; three sisters-in-law, Glennova Franklin (Reston), Carolyn Rose, Tammy Rose, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 9, 2020 at Davis-Turner Funeral service with Rev. Phillip Brown, officiating.
