Rosella Callinder, 67, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

She was born on March 26, 1951 to the late Eleijh Callinder and Erma Toliver Callinder.

Rosella was preceded in death by one sister, Myra Toliver Barksdale and one brother Clinton Lee.

She was a loving sister, aunt and caretake and a blessing to those she came in contact with.  She was a former employee of General Electric and Medical Care Center.  She also served in three churches such as 5 ^th Street Baptist and Eight Street Baptist Church where she served as president of the Usher Ministry and presently she is a member of the Tree of Life Ministry.  Rosella loved music and reading, and her favorite book was "Forty Days With Jesus".

Those left to cherish her memory are her, sisters, Janice Dyke, of Lynchburg and Drucilla Lee, of Appomattox; one brother, Merle Callinder, of Lynchburg; devoted niece, Elizabeth Barksdale Lewis, of Lynchburg; devoted caretaker, Serena Jones (Cotton), of Lynchburg; nieces, Cherry Barksdale, of Virginia Beach, Myra McDaniel and Beatrice Callinder, both of Lynchburg and June Robb, of Michigan; nephews, Billie Barksdale, Ricky Callinder, Bert Callinder, all of Lynchburg, Rajah Barksdale (Faye) and Merle Callinder, Jr. of Richmond  and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
