I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, Rosa Lee Brown of 242 Bolling Hill Lane passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at her residence. Rosa was born on January 1, 1927 to the late Mr. and Mrs. George Reeves. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Theodore Brown; three sons, Thomas Brown, Edward Reeves and James Ronnie Brown; one daughter Evenlyn Scott; two brothers, Champ Reeves and George Reeves; two sisters, Abbie Cabell and Betty Reeves. Rosa was a faithful and devoted member of Lovingston Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memories are three sons, Otis T. (Ella) Brown, Jr., Maurice Brown and Richard (Mary) Brown; three daughters, Sandra Lamberth, Susan (Roger) Eubanks and a devoted daughter Linda Perry and her late husband and devoted son-in-law, Robert Perry; two devoted grandchildren, her angels Vicky (Robert) Cunningham and Shelia Brown; and her other angels, grandchildren, Sherri, Sabrina, Cynthia, Samantha, Vernon, John, Troy Jr., Vinny, Mark, Tuna, Pam, Ottis III, Patricia, Tina; one devoted friend, Phyllis Thornton and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at Bolling Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Jones, Sr. officiating and Rev. Edward Austin as Eulogist. The interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service and other times at the residence.
