Mr. Ronnie Roosevelt Turner, Sr. entered into his heavenly home on Friday May 1, 2020. He was born on October 12, 1952 to the late David Turner and Elinora of Amherst, County. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by a devoted son, Ronnie, Jr. (the late Donna Moore Robinson) of Amherst, VA; his wife Sharlene Callands Turner; children, Trina Bryant (Kenny), Maurice, Ronald and Gregory Callands, Lamont McDaniel and the late Lillian Callands, Johnathan Jackson, Carlton Wynn, Jr., Rosa Jeanette and Jasmine Wynn; a very close and devoted friend, Rosa Jackson; twenty-five, grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Dickerson (Harvey) and Evelyn Jackson, of Lynchburg, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He went to the Job Corp at a young age and he worked at Roc-Ten and Archer Creek Foundry where he retired of health reasons. He was a big Redskins fan. He was argumentative
with anyone. He loved playing cards, Bidwisk and having fun. He had a lot of friends that will miss him. He was the host with the most of laughter, Jokester telling stories.
