Ronald Lee Gray, of 377 Riverview Rd. Madison Heights passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born March 10, 1948 to the late George M. and Rosa A. Gray. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, George E. Gray, James E. Gray, Sr., John H. Gray and Lloyd (Billy Gray; two sisters-in-law, Mary C. Gray and Vermel Lucas Gray.

Ronald was a member of Scott Zion Baptist Church and was a member of the U.S Army. Ronald was employed by J.B. Moore, Ericson/GE and Centra Health were he was an Electrician.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Yvonne Gray, of Madison Heights; his children, Crystal Gray, C. Dwayne Smith and Antonio O. Smith, Sr.; three brothers and six sisters, William (Joyce), Kenneth (Geneva) all of Madison Heights and Larry (Patricia) of Rustburg, Meverlene G. Smith (James), Everlene G. Davis of Lynchburg, Eunice G. Ware (Lawrence), Patricia G. Rosser (Quitman), Joyce G. Coleman (William) and Betty Gray all of Madison Heights; grandson, Antonio O. Smith, Jr.and host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2009 at Scott Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Gary Lee, Pastor officiating and Bishop David Slaughter, as Eulogist. The interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday at Davis-Turner Funeral Service and other times at the residence.
