On Saturday, July 01, 2023, Roberta Marie Fore Megginson, "Tillie", departed this life to her eternal home. She was born on May 27, 1943, in Lynchburg, VA to Inez Russell Fore Taylor and Eunice Sandifer.

She was preceded in death by Walter M. Fore, Sr. and Inez Russell Fore Taylor. Also preceding her in death are her siblings, Gloria Mason, Walter Fore, Jr., Peggy Harmon, Charles Fore, and Janet Jefferson.

She leaves to cherish her memory of two sons, Tyrone Fore (Sherry), and David Megginson, Jr. (Traci), and one daughter, Sabrina Carpenter (Gary, devoted son-in-law); 3 granddaughters, Brittney (Natasha), Chelsee, and Ashley; one grandson, Kevin, Jr.; 3 great-granddaughters, Celina, Carmen, and Layah; one sister-in-law, Julia Mae Fore; good friends, Deborah Calloway, Cynthia Randolph, Jackie Grant, and Margaret Payne; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
