Mrs. Roberta Calloway Lewis passed away at Lynchburg General Hospital at the age of 68. She was born May 24, 1948. On Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 4:00 A.M. she went home to be with her heavenly father. She was born to the late Edna and George Calloway of Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Davis (Charlie) and Joyce Farrow and one nephew Denolt Calloway.
She was a faithful member of Court Street Baptist Church
She leaves to mourn her husband, John Lewis of Lynchburg, Va; three children, Rolanda Calloway, of Lynchburg, Cynthia Flood (John) of Bedford and Darrell Calloway (Devonne) of Lynchburg; three sister; Pearlene Tanner, Carolyn Calloway of Lynchburg and Eleanor Tanner of Rustburg, VA, two brothers, George Calloway, Jr. of Lynchburg and David Calloway (Cindy) of Altavista; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
