IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bobby"
Lee Davis, Jr.
October 3, 1961 – October 3, 2025
May His peace be with you 'til we meet again.
'Til we reach that distant shore,
And we'll shed a tear no more.
May He give you strength to endure.
'Til we meet again.
Robert "Bobby" Lee Davis, Jr., of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, to rest in Heaven. He was the beloved son of the late Robert Lee Davis, Sr. and Elanor Mosby.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Reid (Elmer, Sr.); his father, Robert Lee Davis, Sr. and his aunt, Ethel Miller (McGustavus, Sr.).

Robert's deep love for his children was evident in everything he did. Through life's triumphs and trials, he exemplified the importance of standing firm in the face of adversity, meeting every challenge with grace, faith, and perseverance. His enduring legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will live on through his sons and all who were touched by his life.
During his childhood, Robert was a role model and star athlete. He excelled in track and football, earning numerous awards and trophies for his outstanding performances.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Korea. During his service, he trained in martial arts, earning a black belt and achieving distinction by winning several competition trophies.
Robert was a strong believer and follower of Jesus Christ. He was baptized later in life and became a member of Lawyers Missionary Baptist Church, where he deepened his faith and found great joy in serving the Lord.
Professionally, Robert worked as a machinist for over 20 years, with one of his most notable accomplishments being the production of parts for Disney World. He also had a passion for working on cars and motorcycles. A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, Robert loved cheering for his team—especially when watching them play at Soldier Field.
An animal lover at heart, Robert, shared a special bond with his dog, Braxton, his loyal companion and travel buddy, who even joined him on motorcycle rides.
