Ricky Nunley Dunn, 70, of Brockman Park Dr., Amherst, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born on February 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Hubert Dudley Dunn, and the late Laura Nunley Dunn Gallier Boulding.

Ricky had a love for anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, making people laugh, and his family. He always found humor and a silver lining in life. Many will remember him for his love of the CB radio as his CB handle was Triple 5. He would stay on the radio all hours of the day and night and loved every second of it. But most will remember him as the man in his power chair that rode to Sheetz every day. But also, let’s not forget his efforts to get the sidewalks installed in Madison Heights. He helped pave the way for others with disabilities for decades to come.

Ricky is survived by his three children, Brandi Nicole Christian (Dunn), Elizabeth (Dunn) Young, and Brandon Troy Dunn. His eight grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, Paxton, Talon, Kierra, Brianna, Cale, and Leland. His sister, Mary (Dunn) Wooten; and his dear friend and caretaker, Bobbie Boyd.
