On Saturday January 02, 2021 Ricky Johnson, Jr. slipped into eternal rest at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA at the age of 31. Ricky was born on July 19, 1989 to Patrice Gilmore and the late Ricky Johnson, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Nisaih Johnson; a sister Quateria Cardwell; three brothers, David Gray, Dwight Gilmore, Da'quan Gilmore; his grandparents, Carl and Carrie Johnson, Rose Gilmore, and Lester Currin; he was a loving uncle to 2 nieces and 2 nephews; loving nephew to 4 uncles, Roger (Cassandra) Johnson, Carl (Lisa) Johnson, Shawn Gilmore, Steve (Romonia) Gilmore; 3 aunts, Sharon Johnson, Alisa Johnson, and Monica Gilmore; and a host of other loving relatives (cousins), great aunts, great uncles, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 1PM Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Davis -Turner Funeral Service with Rev. Akers, officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Obed Baptist Church Cemetery.
