Early Wednesday, Morning August 30, 2017, God called the roll unto Price Wilson Leftwich and said "come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Trustee Wilson graciously answered and departed to his heavenly home.
Wilson was born August 23, 1941 in Amherst County to the late Alphonso Leftwich, Sr. and Alberta E. Leftwich. He was the husband of the late Deaconess Areita Leftwich.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Lee Leftwich; sister Audrey Watts; four brothers, Haywood Leftwich, Wayne Leftwich, Willie Leftwich and Fred Leftwich; grandson, Donta Leftwich.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Piney Hill Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the Trustee Board, Wilson was employed with English Construction for about 42 years until his retirement. Wilson was always smiling and very friendly to all.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted son, Jackie (Angie) Leftwich, of Lynchburg; two loving and devoted sisters Hazel Rucker, of Lynchburg and Sally Loves, of Maryland; a devoted brother, Alphonso Leftwich, Jr. (Sadie); two loving grandsons, Duryea Leftwich, of Roanoke and Jericho Leftwich, of Houston, TX and a host of nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
