Perry Billingsley, Jr., aka, Soloman Jedidia Shagari, 63, died on April 24, 2021 in College Park, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his father, Perry Billingsley, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA and mother, Elder Clara L. Billingsley of Lynchburg, VA.

Perry is survived by his siblings, Margaret Chieves and Sarah Chieves of Philadelphia, PA, Paulette Romney (Norman) of Bowie, Maryland, Deborah Williams of Atlanta, GA, Teresa Billingsley of Lynchburg, VA, and twin sister, Darsella Billingsley of Washington, DC, a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Perry was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 19, 1957. He graduated from E.C. Glass High School and attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA. He was a preacher of the gospel, musician, Sunday school teacher, and friend.

A graveside memorial service will be held 10AM Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Tree of Life Cemetery in Bedford, VA. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
