Patricia Aundra Flood Cooper, age 71, heard the Lord's sweet whisper calling her home on June 22, 2022. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Lynchburg, VA.

Patricia was born to the late Richard Scott and Annie Gretel Flood of Forest, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cooper, and siblings, Richard C. Flood, Gladys Reid, and Cynthia Livesey.

Patricia began her life in Forest, VA on March 14, 1951. At an early age, she joined the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Forest, VA.

Patricia was educated in Bedford County Public Schools and graduated from Susie G. Gibson High School in 1969. She was a proud US Army Veteran.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory a devoted step-daughter, Patriess Cooper, Roanoke, VA; one granddaughter, Candace Cooper, Roanoke, VA; one grandson, Rashawn Cooper, Roanoke, VA; six great-grandchildren, Malakai Cooper, Makiya Cooper, Zamara Copper, Ziear Cooper, and Zaula Cooper, all of Roanoke, VA; one sister, Evelyn Coles, Arlington, Texas; 3 brothers, Harry (Catherine) Flood, Auburn, GA, George (Cora) Flood, Newport News, VA; Leroy (Mary) Flood, Bedford, VA, and Harold Flood, Lynchburg, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
