Patricia Payne Braxton was born on July 06, 1977, to the late Howard Lee and Emma Dunkley Payne. She departed this life on August 02, 2022, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Shawn Braxton.

Patricia was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and she loved to watch A&E. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. She cherished the relationships she had with her family, especially her daughter, Dasia. Her passion and dedication to others will always be remembered.

She is survived by her daughter, Dasia Braxton; siblings, Freda Diane Payne, Catherine Payne Garrett, Eric Lee Brown, and Tina Lashae Davis; mother-in-law, Theresa H. Alexander; and a host of other loving family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
