Omar Richarde King, 30 of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD. Omar was born in Lynchburg to Thomas W. King and Sheila A. Harris. Omar was preceded in death by his grandparents, William H. Harris, Thomas A. King, Zelma H. King; uncles, William N. Harris, William Hamby, and cousin Victor N. Harris. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Amari C. King; step-mother Venus King; step-father Jack Parker; grandmother Katheryne Harris, brother, Ronald L. Rathers II (Candice); sisters Yolanda King, Tanya Clark (Kevin Clark), Kelli Patel (Raj Patel), Kira King, December King, and Whitney King; aunts & uncles: Edwina Hamby, Angelo Harris, Linda Long (Willie Long), Richard Harris (Cynthia Harris), Michael Harris (Nomine Harris); devoted friends: Andre Haskins, Chantal Gunn; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Davis & Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Harris, officiating.
