Odester West of 141 Rodeo Dr, Amherst, VA departed this life on April 24, 2007 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born October 25, 1935 to the late Walker D. and Adele Elliott West. Odester is survived by his wife, Betty West, seven children, Louise Marshall, Odea (Karen) West, Marsha (Reza) Nikkooforsat, Renee Morris, Caryn (Kaaran), Cory (Heather) West and Courtney West; three sisters, Evelyn (Elmer) Hutcherson, Shirley Christian, and Geneva (Edgar) Moore; three brothers, James (Hassie) West, Lawrence (Alice) West and Oscar West; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister-in-law; one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral service will held 12 noon, Saturday, April 28, 2007 at First Baptist Church, Coolwell with Rev. Charles Frye officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
