Norvell Thaniel Megginson "Boss" born in Appomattox County on November 23, 1914. He was the son of the late Norvell and Maggie Moore Megginson. God called him home on Thursday, September 11, 2014.

Boss was preceded in by his wife, Emma Bell; three sons, Richard Martin, Claude Wayne and Calvin Megginson, Sr.; three brothers, James, Ollie and Clifton Megginson.

Boss accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member and father of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Concord, Virginia and served for many years as trustee of the Mt. Zion. Boss also worked for the Lime Plant and leaving this he continued to farm and raise tobacco to support his family. Boss was a World War II veteran and he love to hurt, fish and garden.

He leaves to cherish his memories his memories his devoted son, Nathaniel Gregory Megginson (Nancy); a devoted granddaughter, Jacqueline Hancock (Lamont; devoted caregivers, Teresa Hamlett, Christy Davis and Amy Donghai and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

A funeral Service will be held 11:00 Monday, September 15, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Concord with Rev. Donald Foster, officiating. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
