Mrs. Nettie Kidd Cashwell passed away and went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2015 at her home, 2354 Mosby Avenue Lynchburg, Va.

Those left to cherish her memories, Susie Mack and Julia Cashwell, of Rochester, NY, Jeannette Cashwell, Rosemary Melvin, Grace (Lewis) Walker, Charlotte Cashwell, Kathy (Aloysious) Nowlin, all of Lynchburg, James Cashwell, of Greensboro, NC, Dewey (Shirley) Cashwell, of Petersburg, VA, John Frankie Cashwell, of Lynchburg; a devoted friend, Sheryle Cashwell, of Lynchburg; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. James Baptist Church in Nelson County with the Rev. David Brown, officiating. The family will receive friends at 2354 Mosby Ave. Lynchburg. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
