Moses Mickles, Jr., "Oilcan"59, of Rustburg passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence. Moses was born April 17, 1956 to the Rev. Moses Mickles, Sr. and Shirley Daniel Mickles.
"Oilcan" loved to cook and what a cook he was, everyone hoved his greens and country ham. He loved wrestling and with his kind heart, he opened his home to many people who need a place to stay. The children all loved "Uncle Oilcan".
Those left to cherish his memories are his brother, Jason (Cheryl) Mickles, of Lynchburg; five sisters, Wanda (Richard) Rice, of Lynchburg, Cynthia Crew, of NC, Vanessa (James) Calloway, of Madison Heights, Francine Horsley, Virginia Beach and Avis (Thomas) Morgan, Jr. of Appomattox and host of other relatives and friends.
