On July 25, 2023, Mr. Morman Lynwood Andrews of 58 Monroe Street, Lynchburg, VA, affectionately known as Wolf, Lyn, LA, Poppa, Unc, Banker, Navigator, and Cotton left this earthly dwelling to be with his heavenly father.

He was born on June 20, 1957. Morman was the son of the late Mrs. Mary Oulds Andrews Kain. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Sadie Oulds Anthony; 3 brothers, Adam Andrews, Lawrence Andrews, and John David Andrews; and sister, Virginia Pauline Andrews Hubbard.

Morman was educated in the public schools of Lynchburg, VA, and graduated from E.C. Glass High School. Cotton was an outstanding basketball player and a gifted dancer who competed and won numerous contests. He was a dedicated Redskins fan. Wolf worked for James T. Davis Painting and Lynchburg News and Advance for many years. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He studied the bible and kept it beside his bed, along with his many memoirs. He loved his family and friends fearlessly.

He leaves to mourn his loss and celebrate and cherish his memory his son, Morman L. Jennings; and his daughter, Tamekia L. Spradley; six grandchildren, LaMiyah, Cidney, Jason, Jah'lil "Buck", Miles, and Lance. His sister, Evelyn Andrews; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dawson Andrews, and Frankie Christian Andrews; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Three close friends, Bernard Callands, John Davis, and Michael Taylor; and brothers and sisters from The Hill (Tinbridge) and throughout the city and surrounding areas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:15 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
