Mildred Jennings, of Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 7, 1923 to the late Daniel and Mary Slaughter Eubanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie "Bob" Jennings; her brother, Ellis Eubanks and her son-in law, George Phelps and grandsons, Donald Phelps and Stacey Jennings.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Charlie Jennings, Jr.; seven daughters, Ellen Barnes, Shirley Batchelor, Adelle (Donald) Phelps, Julie Jennings, and Mildred (Tony) Ray, Maggie Phelps and Louise Jennings and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 14, 2013 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. J. Logan, officiating.
