Michael David Jones departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Campbell County on June 10, 1959. He was the son of the late Irving and Edna Jones.

He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Marie Prunty (Joe), Ora Miller (Lloyd), and Edith Scott. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Robert, Carroll, and Steve Jones; and two brothers-in-law, Tom Fleshman and Robert Johnson.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories his sisters, Avalene Johnson, Christine Jones, and Lilian Fleshman; one devoted friend, Doris Watkins; and a host of relatives and friends.
