Michael Thomas Hall was born January 16, 1952 to the union of Calvin and Eleanor Hall; he was the eldest of five children.
Michael was a family man and found happiness in being surrounded by family and friends laughing, talking and having a plain ole good time. There was nothing Mike would not do for anyone. Whether it was lending a helping hand, an ear for listening or a one of a kind Michael Hall smile, he was always there. His life will be forever embedded in our hearts and thoughts.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Calvin C. Hall and his loving wife, Doretha C. Hall. He leaves to share his memory: mother, Eleanor Hall of Landover, MD; 3 brothers, Darrell (Lavette) Hall of Landover, MD, Curtis (Ellen) Hall and Bruce (Vida) Hall both of Seattle, WA; sister, Ronnie Hall of Landover, MD; four sisters-in-law, Linda Faye Richerson, Deborah Sandidge, Vanessa Wright of Norfolk, VA and Kimberly Campbell; two children, Caridio (Trixy) Hall of Detroit, MI and Evis (William) Davis; 8 grandchildren, Maya, Kenya, Dionte, Tékéyah, Caridio Michael, Kambrien, Nevaeh, and Sade; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Lewis, officiating. The interment will be in the Sales Family Cemetery with the American Legion Post 16 doing Military Rites. The family will receive friends today from 7-8:00 PM today at Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
