Maude E. Jefferson departed this life on Friday, February 05, 2021. She was born on May 30, 1932 in Bedford County, VA. Mrs. Jefferson was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Jefferson; sisters, Lucille Hagwood (Newark, NJ), Mabel Holiday (New Jersey), and Nellie Adams (New Jersey); and brothers, Roger and Ronnie Younger of Lynchburg, VA.

Those left to cherish Maude's memories are her children, Beatrice Withers (Forest, VA), James T. Jefferson (Arkansas), Larry D. Jefferson (Lynchburg, VA), Oliver L. Jefferson (Forest, VA), and Lojuan M. Jefferson (Germany); brothers, Lewis Younger (Atlantic City, NJ) and Ray Younger (Ogden, Utah); sisters, Hazel Sales (Lynchburg, VA) and Sherri Scott (Lynchburg, VA); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A homegoing celebration will be held 11AM Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Kingdom Power Worship Center with Pastor Adolph Brown, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. COVID precautions will be in place. Please wear a mask. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
