Mary Kathleen Merchant "Puddin" wife of the late Richard E. Merchant passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 17, 1926 in Glen Wilton, VA near Clifton Forge VA. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Glen Wilton. In relocating to Lynchburg she became a Member of Brookville Baptist Church, where she served on the Senior Choir and was a faithful member of the Missionary Ministry.
She leaves to cherish her memory three cousins, Earl and Ronald Fleming, of Richmond and Jarene Williams, of Miami, FL; a devoted god sent children, Rev. Delgardo Linthicum, Rustburg and her two dedicated god sent children Rev. Edward Clara Jones, of Forest; niece, Joyce Gray "Butch", of Madison Heights and many devoted friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, April 25, 2012 at Greater Brookville Baptist Church with Rev. Delgardo Linthicum, officiating and Rev. Edward Jones, Sr. as Eulogist.
