On the afternoon of June 21, 2023, God's angels carried our beloved Mary Ann "Lizzy" Thomas to her heavenly home. Mary Ann Thomas was born October 26, 1973, to the late Walter Lee Thomas, Sr., and Ann Elizabeth Harvey (Thomas).

Mary was baptized at an early age and was a faithful warrior and servant of Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of several churches including Prayer of Faith Temple Zion City, Tree of Life, and lastly The Ramp International Church. She served the Lord, her friends and family, and her community faithfully and selflessly. Mary loved and was loved by everyone.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving parents, Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Harvey (Thomas) and Mr. Walter Lee Thomas, Sr., and her son, Dustin. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Dominique "Domo" Thomas, De'Torri Thomas, De'Trayvious "Tray" Thomas, D'Aya Thomas, and D'Kyjah Thomas. Her grandchildren, D'Armoni Thomas, D'Maris Thomas, Orlando Oliver, III, and baby, "Peanut". Her honorary grandchildren, Makayla Milton, and Shaliyah Payne. Four sisters, Tiffany Thomas, Petulia Smith, Kimberly Smith, and Tiesha Smith. Her godsister, Dr. Cassandra "Sandy" Stroud Conover. Her three brothers, Walter Lee Thomas, Jr., Christopher Smith, and Jonathan Smith. Her devoted aunts, Mary Jane Morrison, and Brenda Harris. She also leaves a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends behind to cherish her as well.

Mary would like to give a very special thank you to her doctors, Dr. Krzyzanowski (Dr. Kay) from Centra. Dr. Ryals, Dr. Smallfield, and the rest of her VCU medical team during her tenure of care.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 01, 2023, at The Ramp Church International. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
